• License Minnesota -- Minnesota's site for access to information on the over 500 licenses and permits issued by the state.
• Minnesota Rules - The full text of the Minnesota Rules, provided by the Revisor of Statutes. The Minnesota Rules: Drafting Manual with Styles and Forms and Rulemaking in Minnesota: A Guide are also available.
• Minnesota State Register - The State Register publishes proposed and adopted rules, official notices, and contracts.
• Minnesota Executive Orders -- A searchable database, created by the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library, of full text executive orders from 1968 to the present.

Federal Courts and Decisions

• Federal Judiciary - Information and answers to frequently asked questions, including links to federal courts. Also includes the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit (Minnesota). Search there for opinions, briefs, orders, and more.
• PACER - Public Access to Court Electronic Records is a fee-based service provided by the federal judiciary for electronic access to federal court dockets. Legislators and staff can call the Legislative Reference Library for access.

  • Supreme Court Collection -- Indexed by Cornell University, this site contains opinions since 1990.
  • FedWorld Supreme Court Decisions Issued between 1937 and 1975 - Opinions from 1937 to 1975, provided by the U.S. Air Force Federal Legal Information Through Electronics system.
  • Findlaw: Supreme Court Opinions - Searchable database of the Supreme Court decisions since 1893 by citation, case title and full text. Scroll down to get to the search forms.

Tribal Law

• American Indian Law - Guide created by the Minnesota State Law Library.
• National Indian Law Library - Provides access to the Tribal Law Gateway.
• Tribal Court Clearinghouse -- Resources for people working in Native American tribal courts. Includes Tribal Law Links that provide access to laws, constitutions, court decisions, and other data.

• NCSL Bill Information Service -- NCSL provides, to legislators and staff only, a 50-state searchable legislation database.
• Minnesota Revisor's Manual with Styles and Forms - The bill drafting manual for Minnesota provided by the Office of the Revisor of Statutes.

• Guide to Law Online - Prepared by the U.S. Law Library of Congress, this is an annotated guide to sources of information worldwide on government and law.
• Hieros Gamos - Hieros Gamos is a comprehensive site for the legal profession. It includes directories of bar associations, law firms, and much more.
• Internet Legal Resource Group - A categorized index of over 4000 selected legal websites, this source also has links to law journals on the Internet.
• LawMoose - A search engine and directory specifically for Minnesota legal resources. Includes the Minnesota Legal Periodical Index.
