Session Notes: Ronald G. Evans' margin of victory over David R. Cummiskey was only 74 votes so an automatic recount occurred. After the recount he was declared the winner by 83 votes. David R. Cummiskey declined to file charges over alleged unfair campaign practices related to a misleading letter on his legislative record, mass-mailed during the campaign.
