GENERAL NOTES

He was of Swedish ancestry.

He ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic-Farmer-Labor party endorsement for the Minnesota Senate in the 1976 primary election. He lost to Florian Chmielewski.

He died at the Veterans Administration Hospital. His funeral was held at Calvary Baptist Church in Roseville, Minnesota. He was buried in Crystal Lake Cemetery.
