Historical Materials in Print
The Library's print collection provides valuable historical coverage and supplements
the Library’s digital lists and reports.
- Subject files with articles from metro and selected greater Minnesota newspapers, 1970 to 2009
(subject codes).
- Legislative district files, 1970-1999 in microfilm, 2000-2009 in file
cabinets, and from 2009 to the present in the Library’s electronic news
archive.
- Minnesota Personalities clipping files on former Minnesota legislators and selected
prominent Minnesotans. Coverage dates vary. (List of personalities.)
- Subject Notebooks on topics such as the
budget crisis of 1981-1983,
redistricting,
the Minnesota Miracle, and
