• Administration on Aging - A division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that administers programs and services for older Americans. Includes the Profile of Older Americans.
• Alliance for Aging Research - A "private, not-for-profit advocacy organization fighting for science policies in the nation's capitol to speed breakthroughs for greater health, vitality and longevity." Includes the full text of various publications.
• Alliance for Retired Americans - A retiree advocacy group established by the AFL-CIO.

• Minnesota Public Employee Pensions
  • Duluth Teachers' Retirement Fund Association (DTRFA) - DTRFA administers the pension plan for Duluth public school teachers.
  • Legislative Commission on Pensions and Retirement (LCPR) - Advises the legislature and provides basic information on pension and retirement plans in Minnesota. Their Glossary of Minnesota Public Pension Plans Terms describes the state's major pension systems.
  • Minnesota State Board of Investment - Contains information on public employee pensions.
  • Minnesota State Retirement System (MSRS) - MSRS administers ten different retirement plans which provide retirement, survivor, and disability benefit coverage for a variety of Minnesota state employees.
  • Pensions and Retirement - Program evaluation reports by the Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA). OLA also conducts State Retirement Funds and Investment Board financial audits.
  • Public Employees Retirement Association of MN (PERA) - "PERA serves over 250,000 current and former public employees from over 2,000 local units of government throughout the state of Minnesota."

• State & Local Government Public-Employee Retirement Systems - Statistical information from the U.S. Census of Governments.
• Health and Retirement Study (HRS) - A collection of data on retirement and health insurance, and issues relating to the over-all economic well-being of society's older citizens. Studies are conducted by the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan, with sponsorship from the National Institute on Aging.

• U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) - This agency oversees the federal laws regulating pensions and other job benefit plans offered by private companies and unions. Includes information on the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
