Winding Down
The Minnesota Legislature will soon complete its work and adjourn sine die (“without a day”), completing the 87th legislative session since statehood. With the end of the legislative biennium, members, staff, and others closely involved with the legislature look forward to a change of pace; more time with families, a chance to get caught up with tasks or projects deferred during the session, and a chance to relax and take a break – maybe even read a book!
While the Legislative Library’s collection isn’t brimming with the latest best-sellers, we can recommend a few recent additions that are worth taking the time to peruse.
A glimpse of Minnesota’s history is offered by two publications comprised chiefly of photographic images.
