Re: Representative John Thompson - Perjury
Mr. Attorney General:
Minnesota State Representative John Thompson deceived our citizens, his constituents, your citizens, and
your state. In 2000, 2012, and in November of 2020, he applied for and received a Wisconsin driver's
license. I le defrauded Wisconsin, claiming to be a resident in order to obtain a fraudulent driver's license.
In doing so, he affirmed--under penally of perjury- that he is a Wisconsin resident:

Wisconsin Driver's License Application, MV3000 I.
I urge your office to open an investigation and pursue charges for this crime of dishonestly, one in a long
list of charges made against this man- ranging from deviant to violent- in several states over many years.
Enclosed, please fi nd selected investigative reporting 0 11 the matter, including several addresses he used in
Minnesota.
It is clear Rep. John Thompson either defrauded Wisconsin and committed a crime in your state; or he
violated Minnesota law and defrauded his "constituents" here in Minnesota. Either way, it is unbecoming
of his station, the distinguished body of the Minnesota House of Representatives, and is much, much less
than Minnesotans deserve.
Respectfully,
Brian Peters
Executive Directo1·
Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association
