Saint Paul – The Commission on Judicial Selection today announced that applications are now being accepted for a trial court bench vacancy in the Fifth Judicial District. The vacancy occurred with the retirement of the Honorable Norbert P. Smith on September 11, 2010. The Minnesota Supreme Court certified the continuation of the chambers of this position for the city of Mankato in Blue Earth County.
