GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS TOLLEFSON TO THE MINNESOTA BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS -- May 3, 2005
 

Saint Paul Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the appointment of Dr. Richard R. Tollefson to the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners. 

Richard R. Tollefson, D.C., of Coon Rapids, has been a Minnesota licensed chiropractor since 1987.  His clinic, North Suburan Chiropractic Clinic, is located in Coon Rapids.  From 1992 to 1996, Tollefson served as an state licensing examiner for the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Since 1996, he has been an examiner for Part IV of the National Board Practice Exam for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. 

Tollefson attended Bemidji State University and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington.  He is appointed to a chiropractor position on the Board and will serve a four-year term which ends January 5, 2009.  Tollefson replaces Dr. Mark Reeve on the Board. 

The Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners is responsible for licensing and disciplining chiropractors.  The Board is made up of seven members appointed by the Governor.
