GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS GESKE TO THE MINNESOTA BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE -- June 30, 2005
 

Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the appointment of Jeremy Geske to the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine. 

Jeremy Geske, of New Prague, currently serves as a local issues specialist for the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation.  In addition, he is a sheep and goat producer for JMG Suffolks of New Prague.  Geske previously served as an educator for the University of Minnesota Extension Service in Dakota County.  He received a B.S. in Animal Science from North Dakota State University in Fargo and a M.S. in Animal Science and Industry from Kansas State University in Manhattan.  Geske is appointed to a Board position for a public member and will serve a four-year term which ends January 5, 2009.  He replaces Lynn Green on the Board.  

The Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for licensing and disciplining veterinarians.  The board is made up of seven members appointed by the Governor.
