GOVERNOR PAWLENTY REAPPOINTS TWO TO THE MINNESOTA BOARD OF VETERINARY MEDICINE -- January 25, 2007
 

Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Dr. Meg Glattly and Dr. John Lawrence to the Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine. Both are veterinarian members reappointed to four-year terms ending January 3, 2011.

Glattly, of Eagan, has been a veterinarian for 27 years. She is partner in a companion animal practice at the Woodlake Veterinary Hospital in Richfield. Glattly is the chair-elect of the National Board of Veterinary Examiners. She received her D.V.M. degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

Lawrence, of Lonsdale, has been a veterinarian for 34 years. He is employed by the Smith Veterinary Hospital in Burnsville. He received the Outstanding Service Award from the Louisiana Academy of Veterinary Medicine. He received his D.V.M. degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.

The Minnesota Board of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for licensing and disciplining veterinarians. The board is made up of seven members appointed by the Governor.
