GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS HEEBNER TO BOARD OF DENTISTRY -- April 13, 2007
 

Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the appointment of Kristin Heebner to the Board of Dentistry.

Heebner, of Minneapolis, is an associate attorney with the law firm of Moss & Barnett, P.A. She is an experienced attorney with skill in complex litigation. Heebner’s practice extends over a wide range of industries, including financial services, software, beauty supply, dentistry, retail and merchandising, real estate, banking, aeronautics, securities, education, employment and commercial leasing.

Heebner is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association of Minnesota, Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. Heebner received her juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota and her bachelor of arts, cum laude, in political science from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Heebner is appointed as a public member to a four-year term that ends January 3, 2011. She replaces Gerald McCoy.

The Board of Dentistry examines, licenses and regulates dental health care professionals. The board consists of nine members appointed by the Governor.
