GOVERNOR PAWLENTY REAPPOINTS WARD TO BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY -- March 9, 2009
 

Saint Paul -- Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Susan Ward to the Minnesota Board of Psychology.

Ward, of Rochester, is the assistant youth director for Pax Christi Catholic Church in Rochester. Previously, Ward worked as executive aide to the director/account officer for the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance from 1995 to 2000 and as an administrative assistant/executive secretary to the Lieutenant Governor from 1991 to 1995. Ward served as a public member of the Minnesota Board of Nursing from 1996 to 2005. She is reappointed to Board of Psychology as a public member to a four-year term that ends January 7, 2013.

The Board of Psychology is responsible for licensing and disciplining psychologists. The Board is made up of 11 members appointed by the Governor.
