Cosmetologist members of the Board of Barber and Cosmetologist Examiners are transferred to the new Board of Cosmetologist Examiners and will serve the remainder of their unexpired term on the new board. The Board of Cosmetologist Examiners will oversee the administration, enforcement, regulation, and adoption of rules regulating the cosmetologist profession. The board will consist of four members appointed by the Governor, including three cosmetologists and one public member.
