GOVERNOR PAWLENTY REAPPOINTS KILL AND REYNOSO TO JOB SKILLS PARTNERSHIP BOARD -- December 21, 2009
 

Saint Paul – Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Robert H. Kill and Edward Reynoso to the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) Board of Directors. Both members are reappointed to four-year terms that expire on January 6, 2014.

Kill, of Eden Prairie, is president and CEO of Enterprise Minnesota, a non-profit organization that helps small to medium-sized manufacturing companies develop and implement strategies to compete and grow. Previously, he was president and CEO of Ciprico, Inc., held several management positions with Northern Telecom Inc., and positions in sales and marketing with Burroughs Corporation before that. Kill earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Agricultural and Economic Development Board, and has served as a board member of numerous technology, manufacturing, and startup companies. Kill, who has been a member of the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board since 2008, is reappointed as a representative of non-profits.

Reynoso, of Ham Lake, is the political director of the Teamsters Joint Council 32 in Minneapolis, and a national field representative for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Department of Legislation and Regulation. He has been a field representative with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, was on the executive board of Teamsters Local 63 in Southern California, and is a 28-year member of the Teamsters. Reynoso is also a member of the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council, Workers’ Compensation Re-Insurance Association, Unemployment Insurance Board, Clearway Minnesota Board, University of Minnesota Labor Education Studies, and the Governor’s Workforce Development Council (GWDC). Reynoso, who has been a member of the Job Skills Partnership Board since August 2009, is reappointed as a GWDC labor representative.

The Minnesota Job Skills Partnership Board brings together employers with specific training needs with educational or other non-profit institutions which can design programs to meet those needs. The board consists of 13 members, including seven appointed by the Governor.
