GOVERNOR PAWLENTY REAPPOINTS MARSHALL TO BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS -- January 14, 2010
 

Saint Paul – Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Teresa Marshall, D.C., to the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Marshall, of Chaska, is the owner and a chiropractic physician with Mankato Chiropractic Center in Mankato as well as Mankato Chiropractic Center River’s Edge in St. Peter. She is also a staff physician at St. Peter Community Hospital. Marshall has owned the Mankato Chiropractic Center since 1993 and interned at the center prior to that. Marshall earned her doctor of chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, and is certified in acupuncture from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She is a voting delegate with the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board; an alternate delegate, test examiner, member of the test development committee, and the Acupuncture Test Development Committee with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners; a member of the Minnesota Blue Cross Blue Shield Steering Committee; Bethany College President’s Advisory Panel; and St. Peter Community Hospital Medical Advisory Panel as well as its Ethics Committee. Marshall, who has been a member of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners since 2002 and president of the board since 2007, is reappointed to another four-year term that expires on January 6, 2014.

The Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners licenses and disciplines chiropractors. The board consists of seven members appointed by the Governor.
