GOVERNOR PAWLENTY REAPPOINTS WILHELM TO PETROFUND BOARD -- December 21, 2009
 

Saint Paul – Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the reappointment of Bonita C. Wilhelm to the Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board (Petrofund Board).

Wilhelm, of Willmar, is a human resource management consultant with a background in the medical field. She earned her bachelor of science degree in management magna cum laude from the St. Cloud State University College of Business. Wilhelm is an active volunteer in the Willmar community where she has served as a member and past president of Peer None Players – a non-professional Theatre Group in Willmar, a production manager and marketing director for the Willmar Community Theatre, a member of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, a member and past president of the Willmar Convention and Visitors Bureau, a board member of the Minnesota Association of Community Theatres, as well as a number of other school and church activities. Wilhelm, who has served as a member of the Petrofund Board since 2006, is reappointed as a public member to another four-year term that expires on January 6, 2014.

The Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board administers compensation from the petroleum tank release clean-up fund for cleanup of leaks and spills from storage tanks. The board consists of five members, including three appointed by the Governor; one representative of the petroleum industry, one representative of the insurance industry and one public member.
