GOVERNOR PAWLENTY APPOINTS STROBEL TO BOARD OF CHIROPRACTIC EXAMINERS -- September 28, 2010

Saint Paul – Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced the appointment of Kay J. Strobel to the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Strobel, of Red Wing, is a retired RN, certified registered rehabilitation nurse, and qualified rehabilitation consultant (QRC). Her professional background includes working as a QRC with Med-Voc Associates, a school nurse, and a nurse with the American Red Cross. Strobel earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She chairs the First Presbyterian Church of Red Wing Women’s Association, serves on the Church Women United Board, and has been active in Women’s Network. Strobel replaces Kim Hill on the Board of Chiropractic Examiners as a public member, and is appointed to complete a four-year term that expires on January 7, 2013.

The Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners licenses and disciplines chiropractors. The board consists of seven members appointed by the Governor.
