A veto is the constitutional power of the governor to reject a bill. When vetoed, a bill is returned to the house of origin with a veto message.
A more detailed description of vetoes is in: The Veto Process and Powers of the Governor. Historical data on vetoes and override attempts is available on the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library's webpage: Vetoes.
