GENERAL NOTES

He moved to Endion, Minnesota in 1852. He returned to Towanda, Pennsylvania in 1865. He lived in Baltimore, Maryland for three years before he moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida in 1877.

"The compilation that resulted in the election of the Democrat, W. W. Kingsbury." (Minnesota History, September 1933, p. 249)

He ran unsuccessfully for the Minnesota Territorial House of Representatives in the 1855 election. He contested the election of Nathan C.D. Taylor on charges related to illegal voters and the validity of election precincts. Nathan C.D. Taylor was determined to be entitled to the seat.

He died in Tarpon Springs, Pinellas County, Florida and was buried in Cydia Cemetery.
