GENERAL NOTES

Toensing lists his death year as 1951. His obituary in the Star Tribune lists October 21, 1951. The Minnesota Journal of the Senate, April 8, 1953; and the Minnesota Legislative Manual list 1852.

He was raised on a farm.

He was a member of the Masonic Fraternity.

"He was an unsuccessful candidate for the office of Hennepin county attorney in 1950. He was also a candidate for alderman of the second ward in Minneapolis in 1947." Star Tribune, October 22, 1951, p. 19)

He and his wife were killed in an automobile accident. His funeral was held at Como Avenue Congregational church and was buried in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.

He was a member of the Como Avenue Congregational Church.
