GENERAL NOTES

The Fifteenth Legislature of Minnesota: Biographical Sketches, St. Paul: Press Printing Company, 1873 lists his last name as Kellet. Toensing and the Minnesota Legislative Manuals, 1872 and 1873 list Kellett.

He came to the United States in 1835 and settled in Pennsylvania. He came to Minnesota in 1856.

According to an obituary in the Red Wing Daily Republican, he was originally a Whig and later a Republican. (MHS Researcher)

He died in Zumbrota, Minnesota.
