Governor's Council on Health, Welfare and Rehabilitation

Function:

The Council will coordinate planning of public and private health agencies in Minnesota.

History:

When Governor Harold LeVander announced the formation of the Council, he said it would advise the State Planning Agency in formulation of a comprehensive state health plan as required by the Federal Comprehensive Health Planning Act of 1966.

The exact dates of the council are uncertain.
