Unlicensed Mental Health Service Providers Board

Function: Registers mental health services providers in Minnesota and enforces rules relating to their conduct.

Membership: 17 members (2 chemical dependency counselors, 2 professional counselors, 2 pastoral counselors, 5 members representing other identifiable specialties and subgroups of providers subject to filing requirements, 6 public members); appointed by governor; per diem and expenses; members file with Ethical Practices Board.
Notes: "The board is in the process of reorganization and will be replaced by a new board."--Annual compilation and statistical report: membership on state councils, boards and commissions, 1991.
