In June, 2003, Governor Pawlenty directed the formation of a Clean Water Cabinet. "Minnesotans care deeply about the quality of their drinking water, and the quality and the future of their lakes, streams and rivers. They want to know that their children will be able to enjoy the waters for years to come," said Governor Pawlenty.
