Function: It shall be the duty of the board to appoint a superintendent, warden, or other chief executive officer of each institution under the control of the board; the superintendent, warden or other chief executive officer of any of the institutions named may be removed by the board for misconduct, neglect of duty, incompetency or other proper cause, showing his inability or refusal to properly perform the duties of his office.
Membership:
The members shall hold office, as designated by the governor, for two, four and six years, respectively.
