Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council
Function: Advises, consults with, and makes recommendations to the Minnesota commissioner of health regarding the formulation of policy and plans for the organization, delivery, and evaluation of emergency medical services in Minnesota.

The emergency medical services advisory council reinstated in section 2 expires June 30, 1996.
17 members (8 representatives of regional EMS governing boards, 7 technical representatives, 1 community health services agency representative, 1 representative of the public at large); 3-year terms; appointed by commissioner of health; travel expenses. (as of 1990)
