Function: Assist the Minnesota commissioner of health in formulating policies and rules relating to human services occupations.
Created in 1976, repealed in 1983, recreated in 1984.
13 members (4 members representing licensed or registered occupations, 2 members representing other occupations, 2 members representing licensed health care facilities, 1 member representing the Higher Education Coordinating Board, 1 representing the State Planning Agency, 1 representing a third-party payer, 2 public members); appointed by commissioner of health; terms governed by Minn. Stat. 15.059; compensation governed by Minn. Stat. 15.059.
State Register 1991: "This advisory council was defunded effective July 1, 1990."
