Note: The Minnesota Department of Health produced this report between 1988 and 1992; however, it appears that it has not been produced since the early 1990s. The data that was used in the report continues to be collected, using multiple vehicles: • The information in Subd. 1 is collected by the Health Economics Program through hospital annual reports. The following data elements are included in the required data set for hospitals: Sub-Acute and Transitional Care Charges; Sub-acute and Transitional Care Admissions; Sub-acute and Transitional Care patient days; Sub-acute and Transitional Care available beds. The data are made available annually online here: http://www.health.state.mn.us/divs/hpsc/dap/hccis/setsofdata.htm • The information in Subd. 2 is submitted to the Health Regulation Division by licensed nursing homes through the Minimum Data Set (MDS) system. Aggregate data from this system may be available upon request from the Minn. Dept. of Health.
