    Description: Report on the nature and extent of criminal forfeitures (including firearms), with information provided by appropriate agencies or prosecuting authorities, as well as summary data on seizures, forfeitures, and expenditures of forfeiture proceeds disaggregated by each appropriate agency and prosecuting authority. The report shall be made public on the state auditor's website.

    Note: Date imputed from publication date of most recent report. This mandate was amended by 2021 Minn. Laws 1st Spl. Sess. Chap. 11 Art. 5 Sec. 20, which added a detailed list of information to be provided by appropriate agencies or prosecuting authorities for the Office of the State Auditor to include in its report to the Legislature. It also amended the mandate so the agencies'/authorities' reports to the Office of the State Auditor are quarterly instead of monthly, clarifying that those reports should include information about forfeitures pursued under federal law, and that the Office of the State Auditor reports to the Legislature should include summary data.
