Note: The Blue Ribbon Commission expires October 2, 2020, or the day after submitting the action plan, whichever is earlier. The commission may contract with a private entity or consultant as necessary to complete its duties under this section, and shall be exempt from state procurement process requirements under Minnesota Statutes, chapter 16C. In fulfillment of the savings determination charge found in 2019 Minn. Laws 1st Spl. Sess. Chap. 9 Art. 14 Sec. 11, the final report provides strategies to reduce state expenditures in the 2022/2023 biennium by approximately $100,000,000. A presentation and overview of the strategies found within the final report is located on the Blue Ribbon Commission public website: https://mn.gov/dhs/hhsbrc/final-materials/.
