Mandate is for the ombudsperson for family child care providers to provide report to Minn. Dept. of Human Services and Legislature. The Minn. Dept. of Human Services shall determine the form of the report and may specify additional reporting requirements.
Appointment of an ombudsperson is being formalized as of February 2022, with the ombudsperson expected to start work in Spring 2022, according to the Minn. Dept. of Human Services.
