Mandate Details

Description: Report with the Minn. Dept. of Human Services's: (1) assessment of the prevalence of customized living services provided under Minn. Stat. 256B.49, supplanting the provision of residential services and supports licensed under Minn. Stat. chapter 245D, and provided in settings licensed under Minn. Stat. 245A; (2) recommendations regarding the continuation of the moratorium on home and community-based services customized living settings under Minn. Stat. 256B.49 Subd. 28; (3) other policy recommendations to ensure that customized living services are being provided in a manner consistent with the policy objectives of the foster care licensing moratorium under Minn. Stat. 245A.03 Subd. 7; and (4) recommendations for needed statutory changes to implement the transition from existing four-person or fewer customized living settings to corporate adult foster care or community residential settings.
