Note: Amended by 2023 Minn. Laws Chap. 52 Art. 17 Sec. 12 to change from a one-time report due in 1998 to an annual report, among other changes. The Minn. Dept. of Corrections submitted its Probation Survey report, published April 2023 and covering 2022, in response to this mandate, along with the following comment: "In accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section 244.21, subdivision 2, a link to the DOC's annual Probation Survey is provided here. This information is updated on an annual basis by counties and coordinated and posted online by the DOC in April. For awareness, the DOC may seek a clarifying amendment to the reporting statute during the 2024 session, changing it from January of each year to May 1st. This would provide the data to you in a more timely way for review. The statute was updated in the 2023 session as part of the broad community supervision reform proposal and the inadvertent delayed timeline of this reporting was recently discovered."
