Mandate Details

Description: Report regarding the financial status of the Public Safety Officer's Benefit Account; the reimbursements paid by the Minn. Dept. of Public Safety during the preceding fiscal year; and payments, if any, made during the preceding fiscal year. If the Minn. Dept. of Public Safety anticipates, based on historical averages, that the Public Safety Officer's Benefit Account will not have enough money to fund all reimbursements the Minn. Dept. of Public Safety reasonably anticipates will be requested and payments for which invoices will be received for the current and next fiscal year, the Minn. Dept. of Public Safety must include in the report the amounts the Minn. Dept. of Public Safety believes are necessary to fund the anticipated reimbursements and payments.
