The state's renewable energy standard and carbon-free goals referenced in the law are under Minn. Stat. 216B.1691.
This law also mandates that the Minn. Dept. of Commerce host a meeting to obtain recommendations from stakeholders and the public on policies and programs to accelerate energy storage system deployment, to achieve the storage capacity that the study determines to be required.
