    Description: Performance report for the Minn. Dept. of Corrections, including: (1) strategic mission, goals, and objectives; (2) department-wide per diem, adult facility-specific per diems, and an average per diem; (3) department annual statistics as outlined in the departmental policies and procedures; and (4) information about prison-based mental health programs, including, but not limited to, the availability of these programs, participation rates, and completion rates; and (5) beginning in 2023, a written aggregate of the State Correctional Facilities Security Audit Group's recommendations based on each security audit and assessment of a state correctional facility and the commissioner's responses to the recommendations.

    Note: Due date changed by 2001 Minn. Laws Chap. 210 Sec. 2.; 2001 Minn. Laws Chap. 210 Sec. 30 repealed recidivism information requirement. 2003 Minn. Laws Chap. 2 1st Spl. Sess. Art. 5 Sec. 2 makes this biennial. Report frequency changed from biennial to annual by 2021 Minn. Laws 1st Spl. Sess. Chap. 11 Art. 9 Sec. 4, which also required that the report include a written aggregate of the State Correctional Facilities Security Audit Group's recommendations.
