Transportation Planning
What’s the best route from Point A to Point B? How about in 20 years? Transportation planning affects our lives daily. Our commutes, running errands, getting the kids to school, and getting out of town all depend on the roads we take and when we take them. Before that, our trips depend on the planning that goes into building our transportation infrastructure.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has just released its draft plan for transportation investment for the next 20 years. However, highway investment is just one facet of transportation planning. Here is a list of key DOT transportation planning documents:
