GOVERNOR PAWLENTY SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING THE VETERANS HEALTH CARE ADVISORY COUNCIL AND AN EXECUTIVE RE-ORGANIZATION ORDER TRANSEFFRING AUTHORITY OF THE VETERANS HOMES BOARD TO THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS -- November 19, 2007 |

| Governor Tim Pawlenty today signed two orders. Executive Order 07-20 creates the Veterans Health Care Advisory Council. Executive Re-Organization Order No. 194 abolishes the Veterans Home Board and transfers its functions, powers, duties and responsibilities to the Department of Veterans Affairs. |

GOVERNOR PAWLENTY ANNOUNCES INCREASED MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE PREVENTION EFFORTS -- November 16, 2007 |

| To further assist homeowners facing foreclosure, Governor Tim Pawlenty today announced an additional $1 million in state funding for early intervention efforts and foreclosure prevention counseling. The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) initiative will support efforts to reach homeowners before they become seriously delinquent in their mortgage. |

| Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, Iowa Governor Chester Culver, Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, South Dakota Governor Michael Rounds, and Manitoba Premier Gary Doer tomorrow (November 15) will sign the Midwestern Regional Greenhouse Gas Reduction Accord. |
